Our Pupil Voice meets regularly to discuss issues both in school and out of school that affect them. We discuss ideas we may have that could help improve our school and really enjoy raising money for a variety of charities.

One of the things we get excited about is being part of the interview process for new staff. We loved having the opportunity to ask Mrs Richards questions at her interview for Head Teacher. We have also been lucky enough to meet our local MP on a number of occasions including visiting The Houses of Parliament.

Each September a new Pupil Voice is elected, this is done by all pupils having the opportunity to vote, just like in a General election. This year we have been working on helping to protect the bees by raising money for an area of our school grounds to become a wildflower meadow – watch this space!

In the past we have supported these charities:-

Action Asthma, Children in Need, Comic Relief, Sports Relief, Jeans for Genes Day, St Richards Hospice, MacMillan Nurses and The British Heart Foundation.

We love to set a theme for these charity days, these are some of our themes:-

Dress up as a tomato, wear a certain colour, odd socks, wacky hair, sponsored skip, pyjama day and the most fun we always have is our annual Reindeer Run.

House System
Our children are appointed into one of four houses: Lloyds, Sandys, Silvester or Evans:
